Construction Carpenter

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Carpenter (Grade 1) to join our team for an immediate start in Goulburn. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a dedicated construction crew while developing their skills within a NSW State Government department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely perform carpentry trade activities related to the maintenance of bridges and drainage structures.
• Carry out safety checks on plant and equipment, perform basic maintenance (e.g., refuelling, fluid checks), and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Complete a variety of routine and complex labouring and manual tasks, using powered and non-powered hand tools under limited supervision or independently within a team.
• Complete work to defined quality standards by following established procedures, taking accurate measurements, comparing results to engineering plans, and completing required documentation.
• Working a 9 day fortnight

Requirements:

• Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent
• Unrestricted drivers licence
• Construction white card
• Construction experience desirable
• Must be available to work away at times
