Construction Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Construction Advisor to oversee safe execution of construction works on a major Tier 1 mining project.
This role is central to maintaining HSE compliance, monitoring contractor progress, and ensuring bulk earthworks and capital project activities are completed safely, efficiently and to schedule.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities to meet strict HSE and statutory requirements
• Lead and deliver site HSE inductions, verifications, training & risk assessments
• Ensure safe work execution — permits, CMS, JHAs, SWPs, isolations & approvals
• Maintain daily progress, reporting, and schedule accountability across contractors
• Monitor QA/QC compliance and support commissioning and field execution
• Coach supervisors and contractors to lift safety performance and work quality

About You

• Strong background in construction supervision, bulk earthworks or capital project delivery
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and influence contracting workforces
• Experience with HSE systems, incident reporting, risk controls and field verifications
• Able to communicate confidently across engineering, HSE, planning & site execution teams
