Pay rate: $52.66/ hour
We’re seeking two experienced Communications Officers
to join a dynamic team and deliver innovative, engaging, and customer-focused communications that inform, influence, and connect with the community.
You’ll work closely with leadership, stakeholders, and other communication professionals to support organisational goals and ensure every message reflects a commitment to excellence.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver creative marketing and communication campaigns across digital, social and traditional channels.
- Assist with the development and implementation of communication and engagement plans.
- Manage external suppliers to ensure quality, compliance and value for money.
- Keep communication channels up to date with relevant and engaging content.
- Contribute to digital consultation opportunities and community engagement initiatives.
- Role model positive safety behaviours and uphold workplace values and standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years’ experience in communications, marketing, or engagement (including digital and social media).
- Excellent writing skills for diverse audiences and platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships.
- Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with online engagement platforms a plus).
- IAP2 Certificate of Engagement (or willingness to obtain).
