Civil Supervisor – Solar Farm Project
WA-based site | 2:1 FIFO Roster | November Start
12-Month Contract
We’re partnering with a leading mining company to find an experienced Civil Supervisor
to support the delivery of a major solar farm project
in Western Australia. This is your opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy development, with strong backing from a well-established resources player.
About the Role
As the Civil Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all civil construction activities on-site – including earthworks, foundations, drainage, and structural supports. Working closely with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring project milestones are met safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil construction activities across multiple work fronts
- Coordinate subcontractors, plant operators, and crews to ensure productivity and safety
- Manage work permits, toolbox meetings, and pre-starts
- Monitor and report on project progress, issues, and delays
- Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Support commissioning and handover activities related to civil infrastructure
- Trade qualification or diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or Construction (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience supervising civil works in mining, renewables, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, concrete, piling, drainage, and structural supports
- Proficient in construction documentation, reporting, and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, environmental compliance, and QA/QC processes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills – ability to drive outcomes on-site
- Attractive pay rate with regular, consistent FIFO roster (2:1)
