Child and Adolescent Counsellor

Are you passionate about supporting individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence? We’re recruiting for a  Child and Adolescent Counsellor  to join a well-established community organisation in Mackay.

In this role, you will provide  therapeutic case management, counselling, intake and triage, crisis response, risk assessment and safety planning  to those in need. You will also provide frontline support as outlined to service users including Children and Adolescents affected by Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assult.

About the Organisation:
Our client is a respected community organisation dedicated to providing  domestic and family violence counselling, crisis response, court assistance, information and referrals, and community education  across the Mackay region.

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from professionals at all levels of experience in this field. To be successful, you will need:

• A relevant degree in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field
• Registration with the  Australian Counselling Association
• A valid  Blue Card
