Our client AGL is seeking a Change Manager to join them on a contract basis. This is a six months contract and is based in Melbourne CBD. You will be working on a part time engagement 3 days per week in a hybrid working environment. Are you passionate about driving meaningful change in a dynamic technology environment? The Change Manager will support the successful delivery of technology initiatives by embedding effective change management strategies across our portfolio.
This part-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Technology Heads-Of and delivery teams, ensuring smooth transitions, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change strategies aligned with program objectives and business outcomes.
- Partner with Technology leaders to assess change impacts, define mitigation strategies, and integrate change practices into planning and execution.
- Provide strategic advice on best-practice change management approaches.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, training, business readiness, and change measurement activities.
- Contribute to business cases through impact assessments, risk analysis, and readiness planning.
- Collaborate with Finance, Strategy & Business Management, and Business Operations to align change initiatives with broader frameworks.
- Guide and support change practitioners across the program and partner organisations.
- Promote a culture of change agility and continuous improvement.
- Leverage organisational knowledge to inform stakeholder engagement and intervention design.
- Support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives by ensuring Technology-led change is effectively adopted.
- Proven experience in change management, communications, or transformation roles, ideally within a Technology or corporate setting.
- Proven ability to develop and execute change strategies, including stakeholder engagement and business readiness.
- Strong communication skills with experience crafting messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience in change impact assessments and adoption support.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
- Proactive, outcomes-focused mindset with a passion for driving clarity and alignment.
- Experience in energy, utilities, or regulated industries is a plus.
