Catering Attendant

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking catering attendant to join our client's industrial catering team located in Darwin airport on a consistent roster. 
Your role will involve data entry and other basic admin tasks alongside, the preparation and plating of meals, make up of equipment and general packing duties, all in a safe manner to client standards and specifications. This role offers the opportunity for ongoing and regular work, as well as onsite parking, full uniform and a meal provided in a clean and inclusive working environment.

Duties will include:
Sorting and packing of catering equipment
Data entry and other administrative duties
Fast paced food preparation tasks
Repetitive manual handling
General cleaning

To be successful for this opportunity you will ideally have:
Recent and relevant experience in food manufacturing environments
Recent and relevant experience in admin with a strong data entry focus
Proven understanding of food hygiene practices and quality activity.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Ability to pass a full medical and national police clearance.
Working Monday to Friday on a consistent roster with overtime on weekends when required
Reliable car and license
Full working rights and availability
Proven reliability and work ethic
Initiative and passion

Applicants please note that this role does not count towards the 88 days working requirements for a Working Holiday Visa.
