Join us as a Cash Management & Banking Officer – an essential role that ensures efficient financial operations. This 0.8 FTE position offers flexible hours across four or five days.
As a key member of the Financial Services team, you will maintain accurate bank reconciliations, oversee investment reporting, and support month-end and year-end processes. Your work will uphold transparent and reliable financial management, making a tangible impact in our community.
We seek a professional with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach. You’ll liaise with stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and utilize systems like Technology One and online banking effectively. If you excel at delivering excellent customer service and thrive in a team environment, this role is for you.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Experience with bank reconciliations and financial systems, especially Technology One
- Strong numeric and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting procedures related to reconciliations and investments
- Investment management and cash flow analysis experience
- Familiarity with legislative requirements such as the Unclaimed Monies Act
- Experience supporting financial reporting and audits
- Proven commitment to superior customer service
- Prior experience in financial accounting or similar roles
- Ability to solve complex problems and produce accurate, timely work
- Satisfactory police check required
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Assist colleagues as needed
