Cash Management & Banking Officer 

Contract: ASAP to 23 Feb
Location: Doncaster
Rate: $41.48 - $47.53

Join us as a Cash Management & Banking Officer – an essential role that ensures efficient financial operations. This 0.8 FTE position offers flexible hours across four or five days. As a key member of the Financial Services team, you will maintain accurate bank reconciliations, oversee investment reporting, and support month-end and year-end processes. Your work will uphold transparent and reliable financial management, making a tangible impact in our community.

We seek a professional with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach. You’ll liaise with stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and utilize systems like Technology One and online banking effectively. If you excel at delivering excellent customer service and thrive in a team environment, this role is for you.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial systems, especially Technology One
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures related to reconciliations and investments
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Investment management and cash flow analysis experience
  • Familiarity with legislative requirements such as the Unclaimed Monies Act
  • Experience supporting financial reporting and audits
Preferred education and experience:
  • Proven commitment to superior customer service
  • Prior experience in financial accounting or similar roles
  • Ability to solve complex problems and produce accurate, timely work
  • Satisfactory police check required
Additional requirements:
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
