Our client is a well-established National provider of water treatment chemical solutions. Known for their technical expertise and strong customer partnerships, they service a diverse client base across manufacturing, industrial, mining and commercial sectors.

With continued growth in Victoria, they’re now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition and drive regional growth, while supporting a portfolio of strategic accounts.

The Role
As BDM, you’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities and delivering tailored chemical treatment programs across water systems including boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater. You’ll partner with clients to understand their operational challenges and deliver practical, results-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy across Victoria to drive growth

  • Identify and win new business opportunities across target industries

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients

  • Provide consultative advice and support on water treatment programs

  • Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to ensure smooth delivery

  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotes, and contracts

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reporting

About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both commercial drive and technical credibility.

You’ll need:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within water treatment, chemicals, or industrial services

  • A solid understanding of water treatment applications (e.g., boilers, cooling, wastewater)

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to selling

  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong territory management skills

  • A current driver's licence and flexibility to travel within VIC
