Job Title: Boilermaker
Location:
Mount Thorley, NSW
Rates: From $49/hour and above depending on skills and experience

Day & Afternoon Shifts Available 
Day shift: 7am-3pm / Afternoon shift: 3pm-11pm
 

About the Role:
As an experienced Boilermaker, you’ll bring enthusiasm and a commitment to safety and quality every day. You’ll be part of a team that fabricates and welds components to exacting standards, contributing to the production of world-class mining and industrial products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fabrication and welding using GMAW, FCAW techniques 
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Ensure components meet required tolerances and quality standards
  • Handle materials and perform associated tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in training and skill development activities
  • Comply with ISO9001 quality policies and procedures
  • Support maintenance and engineering teams as needed
  • Mentor apprentices and junior team members
  • Operate forklifts, profile cutters, and manage materials as directed
What You’ll Need:

  • Recognised Trade Qualification (Engineering Fabrication preferred)
  • Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Welding certification to AS1554.4 standard
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Work at Heights and Confined Space certification (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Solid English literacy and numeracy skills
