From $49/hour and above depending on skills and experience
Day & Afternoon Shifts Available
Day shift: 7am-3pm / Afternoon shift: 3pm-11pm
About the Role:
As an experienced Boilermaker, you’ll bring enthusiasm and a commitment to safety and quality every day. You’ll be part of a team that fabricates and welds components to exacting standards, contributing to the production of world-class mining and industrial products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication and welding using GMAW, FCAW techniques
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Ensure components meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Handle materials and perform associated tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Participate in training and skill development activities
- Comply with ISO9001 quality policies and procedures
- Support maintenance and engineering teams as needed
- Mentor apprentices and junior team members
- Operate forklifts, profile cutters, and manage materials as directed
- Recognised Trade Qualification (Engineering Fabrication preferred)
- Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
- Welding certification to AS1554.4 standard
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Work at Heights and Confined Space certification (desirable)
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Solid English literacy and numeracy skills
