Beach Cleaner - Afternoon Shift (Seasonal Role)
Location:
Various beaches around Newcastle
Shift:
12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Duration:
December to approximately May 2026
We’re looking for a reliable Beach Cleaner
to help keep Newcastle’s beautiful beaches and surrounding facilities clean and safe throughout the summer season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, hosing, and maintaining pavements, car parks, and walkways
- Operating a blower to clear sand and debris
- Cleaning public amenities
- Rubbish collection and removal
- Ensuring areas remain tidy and hazard-free
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Must be available for weekend work every second week
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (PPE provided)
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a pre employment physical
