JOB TITLE -
Aviation Process Assistant – Dangerous Goods Compliance
HOURS -
4 hour days, weekends included, 3 to 4 days per week.
DURATION -
12 months
This is a newly created position and individuals with a background in cargo compliance who hold an ASIC card, or are able to obtain one - are encouraged to apply.
Our client is after a detail oriented individual to support air cargo compliance operations at a third party facility.
This role focuses on the verification of rejected packages for dangerous goods, whilst working with a security team to ensure regulatory and safety standards. Due to the importance of this role, you are expected to have clear and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify sidelined packages for Dangerous Goods compliance
- Work with aviation security personnel
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation and submit daily reports
- Monitor and report on compliance and performance indicators
This role requires early morning shifts and weekend work, to be successful in this position, you will need to be available for both.
Qualifications
- ASIC card - or ability to obatain
- Availability for early shifts, including weekends
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Clear communication and reporting abilities
