About the Company
Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced and driven Associate Manager to lead a high-performing recruitment team within our specialist South Eastern Industrial Division. Reporting to the Unit Manager, this role provides leadership across Recruitment Consultants, Account Managers and Administration support staff, with a strong focus on performance, compliance, safety and profitability.

About the Role

As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading and enabling your team to operate efficiently and compliantly while achieving strong financial results. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive performance against KPIs, and build strong relationships with key client stakeholders whilst driving growth with both new and existing client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate your team to meet and exceed individual and team KPIs and budget targets
  • Own financial performance
  • Provide strong safety leadership and apply Chandler Macleod’s Risk Management Framework
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS, legal and company requirements
  • Facilitate regular team meetings focused on performance, safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Support training, development and capability building across the team
  • Drive a positive, safe and inclusive workplace aligned with Chandler Macleod values
  • Complete performance planning, reviews and development discussions for direct reports
  • Build and grow client relationships, identify opportunities and win profitable business
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, selection, offers and onboarding
  • Represent Chandler Macleod at industry and networking events
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems in line with SOPs and quality standards  

About You 
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within a customer service or target-driven environment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing financial targets
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to generate new business and build upon existing client relationships
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working in matrix-structured teams
