About the Team
The People & Culture team supports the Agency staff and managers throughout their employment.
The Workplace Integrity team deals with complex employee matters, including:
- Code of Conduct investigations
- Reviews of Action
- External employment matters (such as Fair Work matters)
About the Role
The Agency is seeking an experienced HR professional to join the Workplace Integrity team within a Federal Government environment.
This role focuses on managing complex and sensitive employee matters, including investigations and workplace conduct issues. The position provides high-level advice on employment legislation, policies and enterprise agreements, and supports leaders in handling complex people matters.
The role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong judgement, professionalism and the ability to manage confidential issues independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice on APS HR legislation, policies and enterprise agreements
- Conduct Code of Conduct investigations
- Manage Reviews of Action under the Public Service Act
- Handle external employment matters in collaboration with Legal teams
- Assess risks and determine appropriate action in complex people matters
- Review and contribute to HR policy development
- Analyse case data and prepare reports for senior executives
- Support team coordination and planning activities
You Must Have
- Experience conducting workplace investigations
- Strong case management skills
- Knowledge of APS legislation and public sector HR frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Confidence managing difficult conversations
- High ethical standards and professionalism
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Benefits:

- Assignment end date: 31st December 2026 with potential extension

- $602.55 daily + Super
