We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager - Structures
for a state government department based in East Perth.
This role is offered on a six month basis and covers the following duties:
- Develop bridge maintenance and improvement programs in the region
- Perform specialist monitoring, assessment and reporting of bridge asset condition and performance against agreed levels of service, intervention standards, environmental and product standards
- Identify gaps and deficiencies in bridge assets and develop solutions and priorities to optimise performance
- Review proposals and provide input to project development and delivery, including project budgets and timeframes
- Provide advice for the development and maintenance of the asset with respect to bridges and management plans
- Manage the research and collation of information, analysis of data and use of corporate support tools for bridge asset management
- Undertake the capture of retaining wall and noise wall asset data
- Assist with the Timber Forever initiative including documentation and reporting
Essential:
Substantial skill, knowledge and experience in:
- One or more of structures asset management, design, construction or maintenance and refurbishment
- Knowledge of bridge works planning and programming
- Project management, including project estimating
DESIRABLE:
- A Degree in Structural Engineering
