About the Company
We, at Chandler Macleod, are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone feels valued and respected. As a trusted recruitment agency, we partner with state government clients to connect talented individuals with meaningful temporary opportunities. Our focus is on creating a welcoming environment that promotes fairness, inclusion, and professional growth, recognising that diversity drives innovation and success.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented Content Developer for a casual, short-term assignment with a state government department. This role is an excellent chance to contribute to a significant project aimed at upgrading the government’s financial management system to a modern, cloud-based Oracle platform. The Content Developer will support the project’s change management and training initiatives by creating engaging learning materials, artefacts, and digital content tailored for diverse stakeholders. This casual role will run until June 2026, offering flexibility and valuable experience working on a major government reform.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and document engaging learning content across various formats, including online modules, videos, infographics, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with project team members and subject matter experts to produce effective artefacts for stakeholder engagement and training.
  • Assist the training team by creating high-quality change management and educational materials.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all content and activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and principles related to public sector values, including equity and safety standards.
About You
The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented professional capable of translating complex information into engaging, user-friendly content. You’ll bring experience in developing digital training resources — including videos and interactive materials — and have a keen eye for detail. You should be able to manage your workload independently while remaining flexible to meet project needs. Your skills and qualities include:
  • Proven experience creating engaging training and change management artefacts, especially digital content and videos.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • The ability to simplify complex concepts for a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience working with templates and maintaining organisational branding across multiple media formats.
  • Understanding of applicable policies, legislation, and principles such as EEO, Work Health and Safety, and cultural inclusion.
Why Apply?
This casual role provides a great opportunity to be part of a key government project that will modernise financial systems and processes across multiple agencies. You’ll gain valuable experience working within a large-scale reform, with a flexible schedule until June 2026. We’re also dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion, and we warmly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, women, people with disabilities, and the LGBTIQA+ community.
If you’re eager to contribute to a meaningful government initiative while enhancing your skills, don’t miss out — submit your application today and join a supportive team working towards a brighter future for public sector finance!
