About the Role

Shared Services SA is looking for a motivated ASO2 Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Debt Management Team on a full-time basis from 22 September 2025 until 19 December 2025. The role has been created to support an increasing workload and ensure timely collection of debts while maintaining high-quality customer service. If you’re organised, detail-oriented, and prefer a dynamic environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing debt collection activities via phone and email
  • Sending invoices and debt notices, including RTS/ADHOC recovery duties
  • Engaging with customers professionally to resolve outstanding accounts
  • Performing accurate data entry and record keeping
  • Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets
  • Contributing to team goals and continuous process improvement
About You

The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn and values teamwork, with a knack for handling multiple tasks efficiently. To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Current National Police Clearance (mandatory)
  • Experience with data entry (minimum 40wpm) and good attention to detail
  • Previous experience in customer service, especially in call centres, retail, or hospitality
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • A proactive attitude with a quick learning curve and adaptability
