We’re looking for experienced APS6 and EL1 Project officers and Policy specialists to join a vital government project focused on enhancing digital literacy across Australia. These roles are essential for delivering key outputs that will support foundational skills development by mid-2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project activities, including developing plans, schedules, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Manage project governance, ensuring documentation such as agendas, meeting minutes, and decision records are accurate and timely.
- Conduct essential research and analysis to support the development of the Digital Literacy Skills Framework, considering current gaps and future pathways.
- Draft high-quality outputs, including analytical reports, glossaries, and pathway options to support policy implementation.
- Facilitate engagement with government agencies, external suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Support procurement activities and coordinate specialist support services, such as research or consultation providers.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and prepare comprehensive status reports and handover documentation.
- Proven experience leading complex government or cross-agency projects, especially in policy or strategy settings.
- Strong understanding of digital literacy, foundational skills, or related policy landscapes in Australia.
- Skilled at translating frameworks into practical, user-friendly artefacts and communicating clearly across diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills — eager to keep everything on track and meet tight deadlines.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to flexible working arrangements, including hybrid setups.
