We are recruiting for an APS 6 Senior Advisor – People and Performance for a full time 6 week assignment. 
Your expertise in navigating HR legislation, enterprise agreements, and contemporary best practices will be instrumental in providing high-quality advice and support across the organization. You’ll engage with diverse stakeholders, facilitate workplace dispute resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement within the People Services team. 
We are seeking candidates who possess:
  
- Proven experience providing specialist HR advice, interpretation and application of HR policies, legislation, and enterprise agreements
 - Strong case management skills including performance management, misconduct handling, and conflict resolution
 - Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of preparing complex reports, briefs, and correspondence
 - Skilled at stakeholder engagement, building trust, and influencing outcomes
 - Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a busy team environment
 - Sound judgment, pragmatic decision-making, and ethical conduct
 - Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver training to enhance supervisor capabilities
 
- Knowledge of APS industrial relations and employment law
 - Experience in conducting workplace investigations and reviews
 - Familiarity with HRIS systems and process improvement initiatives
 - Cross-cultural communication skills and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
 
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related fields
 - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR advisory or case management roles within a government or similar environment
 - Australian citizenship is mandatory, with successful applicants required to obtain a Police Check clearance
 
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
 - Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
 - A commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality in all dealings
