AO3 Customer Service Officer – Education Sector
Location: Gold Coast (South Port)
Level: AO3
Work Unit: Customer Service
Contract: 7 October 2025 – 27 February 2026
Salary:$48 / hour + super

We are seeking AO3 Customer Service Officers on behalf of our client, based on the Gold Coast, to support the Education sector. These roles are call centre–based, providing accurate and timely information to prospective and existing clients.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients, including those from non-English speaking backgrounds. You will ensure that all client interactions are handled with professionalism, accuracy and efficiency, while contributing to the achievement of service levels and continuous improvement in processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the organisation as the first point of contact across multiple channels (phone, email, WebChat).
  • Provide accurate information and assist clients with enquiries regarding availability and suitability of offerings.
  • Maintain and update accurate client records and documentation.
  • Contribute to achieving service level agreements and organisational targets.
  • Support continuous improvement of business processes and practices.
  • Promote an ethical, safe and supportive workplace culture focused on health, safety and wellbeing.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of products, services and operational procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport, resolve conflict and solve problems.
  • Tech-savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple software systems.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Background in education, banking, finance or travel sectors will be highly regarded.
