Airport Operations Support Analyst
4‑Month Contract | Luddenham & Liverpool | Hybrid (1 WFH Day)
Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with a major organisation in the aviation sector to recruit an Airport Operations Support Analyst
for an initial 4‑month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, high‑performing operations environment supporting the setup of a significant aviation program. The role will be based across Luddenham and Liverpool, with travel between the two locations required from time to time. Hybrid flexibility is offered, with one day working from home per week.
About the Role
Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, you will provide critical operational support through data analytics, reporting, roster coordination, and operational planning. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. You will work closely with a diverse group of operational stakeholders and play an important role in supporting readiness activities for a major airport precinct.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Management & Analytics
- Coordinate and support operational rosters, leave planning and time/attendance processes.
- Develop workforce models, scenario planning tools and forecasting insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic workforce decisions.
- Compile reports on daily operations, workforce metrics and key performance indicators.
- Support the Airport Operations group with administrative and coordination duties.
- Track operational tasks, actions, and deadlines.
- Liaise with various internal teams to ensure seamless operational delivery.
- Organise site tours in collaboration with operational managers.
- Capture feedback and contribute to improving tour experience and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of all stakeholder interactions.
- Maintain an understanding of safety and emergency procedures.
- Support compliance with all regulatory and internal safety requirements.
- Ensure adherence to relevant policies including safety‑sensitive protocols.
- A strong background in operations support, coordination, or workforce planning.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience within an airport or transport/operations environment (highly regarded but not essential).
