Roster: 5:2
Duration: 12–18 months (with potential for extension)

Are you passionate about improving equipment reliability and asset performance in the mining industry? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading mining company seeking two experienced Advisors to join their team:
- Advisor Offsite Repairs – Fixed Assets
- Advisor Offsite Repairs – Dewatering Assets
About the Roles
Reporting to the Principal – Offsite Repairs, you will support and oversee the repair, refurbishment, and testing of mining assets that are critical to site operations. You’ll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure quality, compliance, and performance standards are met—while actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Depending on your background and interest, you will be working with either:
- Fixed Plant Assets
- Dewatering Assets
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee offsite repair, refurbishment, and new build activities for fixed or dewatering assets.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with engineering standards and procedures.
- Support and improve offsite repair coordination, including SAP transactions, expediting, and stakeholder communication.
- Analyse repair and condition reports (including NDT) and advise on cost-effective solutions.
- Manage monthly capital spend reporting per asset.
- Develop and improve standard repair specifications and contribute to technical documentation.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and investigate new technologies to extend asset life.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and overhaul of either:
- Fixed plant processing equipment or
- Dewatering systems and water management assets.
- Strong understanding of asset condition monitoring, repair practices, and vendor quality control.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret repair quotes, NDT reports, and technical drawings.
- Experience with SAP in a maintenance or planning environment.
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification and/or Engineering Degree.
- 5+ years’ relevant industry experience (mining or heavy industry preferred).
- Project management or asset management background.
- Vendor management experience.
- WA C Class Driver’s License.
- Technical writing experience.
