Service Delivery Officer
Short-term contract | Approx. 1–2 months
100% on-site

We are seeking a Service Delivery Officer to provide front-line reception, facilities, fleet and general administrative support at a busy government site. This is a short-term contract while a permanent recruitment process is underway, so the focus is on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
This role suits someone hands-on, organised and service-focused, with solid MS Office skills and experience supporting site-based operations.

Key Priorities for This Contract For this engagement, the core focus will be:

  • Reception and front-of-house support
  • Facilities coordination
  • Fleet and pool vehicle administration
  • General administration and data entry
While the position description is broad, candidates do not need to cover every strategic element. Practical delivery and reliability are the priority.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Reception
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries
  • Deliver professional, responsive customer service on site
  • Create a welcoming and well-managed front-of-house environment

Facilities & Site Administration
  • Coordinate day-to-day site services, including mail, consumables and meeting rooms
  • Maintain security registers for swipe cards and keys
  • Support facilities management by logging, tracking and following up maintenance requests
  • Liaise with contractors and communicate site impacts to staff
  • Maintain databases and records that support site operations

Fleet Management
  • Administer pool vehicle bookings and access
  • Coordinate vehicle log sheets, utilisation reports and compliance checks
  • Arrange vehicle maintenance, cleaning and replacements as required

Administration & Records
  • Provide general administrative support to the site and regional staff
  • Support records management in line with departmental processes
  • Undertake data entry, basic reporting and ad hoc admin tasks
  • Assist with small projects as required

Team Support
  • Support staff access to fleet, meeting rooms and mail services
  • Assist the Program Manager and Regional Services team as needed
  • Contribute to a cooperative, service-focused team environment

Culture & Safety
  • Practice cultural safety and contribute to inclusive, respectful workplaces
  • Support environments free from racism and discrimination

Key Selection Criteria Experience & Skills
  • Experience in reception, administration or site-based support roles
  • Experience coordinating facilities and/or fleet services is highly regarded
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage competing requests
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment

Technical Skills
  • Confident using MS Office applications, including:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • Outlook
    • PowerPoint
    • SharePoint
