Accounts Payable Officer (Part-Time) 

A local council is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its Finance team on a part-time basis through to 24 July 2026.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and records system (TRIM/EDRMS)
  • Handling AP phone enquiries and voicemails
  • Maintaining Creditor Masterfiles
  • Monitoring and reallocating workflow tasks
  • Processing invoices using Authority
  • Daily BPoint refund processing and AP dashboard updates
  • Resolving discrepancies and returned payments
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Facilitating timely supplier payments
  • Managing and posting purchasing card transactions
  • Data entry for payroll timesheets when required
What you’ll bring:
  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team
  • Experience using Authority, TRIM/EDRMS, and Microsoft Office is highly regarded
The details:
  • Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, flexible between 8:30am–5:00pm
  • Location:  Raymond Terrace
  • Pay rate: $47.48 per hour(incl. casual loading)
  • Reason for role: Backfill while a permanent staff member is acting in another position
