Accounts Payable / Accounts Administration Officer Location: Villawood, NSW
Contract: 6‑month assignment (possibility of extension)
Work Pattern: Onsite, Monday–Friday

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable or Accounts Administration professional looking for your next opportunity? Chandler Macleod is partnering with an established organisation in Villawood to recruit a capable and reliable AP-focused Accounts Officer for a 6‑month contract, with strong potential for extension.

This is a fully onsite position, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment and enjoys variety in their daily work.

About the Role You will support the finance and administration team with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, in addition to general administrative tasks and occasional reception coverage. Typical responsibilities include:

Key Duties

  • Processing AP invoices for local and overseas purchases
  • Data entry for inventory and general ledger transactions
  • Reconciling supplier statements and following up discrepancies
  • Assisting with AP payment runs and maintaining supplier files
  • Supporting reception during breaks (answering calls, greeting visitors, managing mail)
  • General administrative duties including filing, archiving, document management, and data entry
  • Assisting with occasional Accounts Receivable tasks as needed
  • Supporting special projects and broader admin requirements across the business
About You We are seeking someone who brings professionalism, enthusiasm, and accuracy to their work. The ideal candidate will have:

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Administration
  • Understanding of basic accounting processes
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with GreenTree (MYOB) advantageous but not essential

  • Calm, courteous, and team‑oriented
  • Capable of working autonomously when needed
  • Comfortable working onsite full‑time
