Our client is a large federal government agency focused on providing high quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services. A great opportunity for experienced administrators to join a busy operations team working for a large government organisation.
About the Role
These roles provide essential support through contract management, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll work in small, collaborative teams and contribute to outcomes that directly clients.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Provide administrative, governance, and reporting support.
- Manage low to medium risk contracts, including documentation and record keeping.
- Monitor performance, risks, and compliance with procurement policies.
- Support the preparation of reports, submissions, and correspondence.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Manage and evaluate low to medium risk contracts and categories.
- Develop procurement documentation and contract management plans.
- Analyse expenditure, performance, and risks, ensuring value-for-money outcomes.
- Provide advice on procurement policies and resolve complex issues.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and represent the Branch in forums.
- Mentor team members and support branch-wide processes.
About you:
- You will have strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- You will have previous experience of working within a project or contract management environment
- You will have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- You will have strong time management experience, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing deadlines.
- You will have strong problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ideally you will have knowledge of government procurement frameworks and policies, or worked in a government organisation previously.
