Background

Our client, one of Australia's fastest-growing companies, engaged us to bolster their incoming intake of Field Operators. Their ideal group included diverse, skilled talent which would feed into their diversity and equality goals.

Our Solutions


We built and delivered a recruitment campaign that met the expectations of the client and delivered a smooth candidate experience.


Our solution included:

  • Profile building of the ideal candidate to feed into targeted attraction and advertising to passive, but attractive candidates.
  • Benchmarking and validation of the Success Profile of the preferred employee, including assessments and interviews with Managers and Stakeholders.
  • Online and Supervised Assessments, staggered to ensure both cost-effectiveness and a positive candidate experience. 
  • Creation of a microsite specifically for the role, addressing the requirements, detailing the roster, salary, training, and work building a high level of understanding of the employees but also providing a landing page whereby candidates were funneled to promote stickiness and reinforce the corporate value. 


Outcomes


Attraction 

  • Targeted campaigns were that was pushed to more than 130,000k potential candidates garnering more than 3,500 click through to learn more
  • Electronic Mail Outs to ~2,000 potential employees with a click-through rate of 47%, greatly above industry averages 
  • Information Session / Webinar to provide potential candidates with a ‘day in the life’ of which was attended and later viewed by more than 200 candidates 
  • We received more than 620 applications, Interviewed 150 and had over 35 join the Assessment Centres, and ultimately 14 were hired. 

Assessment

  • Organisational Psychology Consulting and Success Profiling to identify the preferred traits and experience required in the role.
  • Building of bespoke assessment processes to profile the candidates to assess their Safety & Risk and Behavioural attributes & Mechanical Aptitude and Abstract Reasoning
  • Building a matrix of profiles that informed the Client about the individual profiles of the individuals and what specific lines of interview questioning was needed to properly understand the profile of each worker.
