Background

In January 2022, Chandler Macleod won a large-scale project to establish a total talent solution across Australia & New Zealand, for one of the world’s largest and most prominent information and communication technology equipment and services corporations.


Our client was looking for significant improvement in their recruitment technology and processes, keen to reduce their time to hire and manual handling through the recruitment and onboarding stages. At the time of the project kicking off our client had 350 open job requisitions. Top talent attraction, retention and diversification was paramount. 


This challenge was undertaken during a very tight post-covid labour market. 


Our Solutions


What did we do? What didn’t we do! 


Chandler Macleod implemented an entirely new market-leading Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and rebuilt the career websites used for talent engagement and capture.


We implemented multiple new technology led, processes improvement platforms that were fully integrated from end-to-end. 


These platforms provided the following benefits:


Online document completion, online reference checking, verification and background checks, automated candidate reach out and engagement including a 2-way SMS communication platform.


We also implemented a Relationship Management layer to our structure including a DE&I specialist.



Outcomes


  • New functionality not previously available such as ability to talent pool, advanced searching capability and candidate sharing. Improved ease of use for recruiters and increased speed to market.
  • Single provider for all background screening, integrated to the ATS to allow for candidates selected for verification to be sent directly to the platform and results to be returned into ATS against the candidate profile. Ability to track progress, easy access quick view on check status and ability for recruiter to accelerate process.
  • Efficient and automated communication with applicants from point of application throughout the Recruitment Process. 
  • Improved yield ratio, improved candidate experience, accelerated candidate response times.
