About the Client:

Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for a Video Production Coordinator to join their busy team for a casual 12-months temporary assignment.


About the Role

As a Video / Animation Production Coordinator, you will support the Digital Media team to deliver high-quality content across a range of platforms and channels. You will play an integral role in coordinating the projects and outputs of video and social media content production, including meeting with business areas to understand briefs and needs, assigning jobs, tracking progress, liaising on outputs, consents and more In addition, your key duties are as follows:

  • Coordinate planning, logistics and schedules for multi-format content production
  • Manage shoot requirements, location access, and production resources
  • Work across content teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables align with campaign goals
  • Liaise with business areas for reviews, feedback and approvals
  • Ensure all required consent and accessibility documentation is completed and archived
  • Support senior team members with logistics, reporting, and day-to-day coordination tasks
  • Help maintain production records and contribute to regular team reporting
  • Develop strong networks and positive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • End to end project management and stakeholder coordination

 
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating video and/or animation production in a creative or agency setting
  • Familiarity with production documentation and workflows (e.g. video briefs, production schedules)
  • Understanding of accessibility requirements in video production (e.g. captions, transcripts, audio description)
  • Experience using project management or content tracking tools and wider the Office 365 environment (e.g. SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with copyright, consent, and usage rights for visual media
  • Exposure to Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro or Media Encoder, is advantageous though not essential
