Our client is a well-established and highly regarded chemical manufacturer and is seeking a commercially driven Sales Executive to support its continued growth within the industrial manufacturing sector. With a comprehensive portfolio of chemical products and technical solutions, this organisation services a broad range of industrial clients across sectors such as metal processing, plastics, water treatment, coatings, lubricants, surface preparation, and general manufacturing.
This is a key customer-facing role focused on growing revenue through strategic account management and targeted business development, offering an excellent platform for a sales professional with a strong technical understanding and relationship management skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a defined portfolio of industrial customers across NSW.
- Identify and capitalise on new sales opportunities within target segments to drive business growth.
- Provide technical consultation and product recommendations aligned to customer production processes and performance requirements.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, pricing models, and presentations in line with commercial strategy.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including product management, procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure service excellence.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting through CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars as required.
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B sales within industrial chemicals, manufacturing, or a technical supply environment.
- Demonstrated success in both new business development and key account growth.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills, with the ability to engage production, procurement, and technical decision-makers.
- A working knowledge of chemical applications in manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related technical field will be well regarded.
- Self-motivated, outcome-oriented, and capable of working independently in a field-based sales role.
