About the role
In your new role of Steggles shop assistant, you will support the team in:

• Greeting customers, assisting them in locating products, and providing information about promotions.
• Processing payments, handling returns and managing the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Receiving, unpacking, and organizing new shipments; restocking shelves; and ensuring products are correctly labelled.
• Keeping the sales floor clean and organized, setting up displays, and performing end-of-day cleaning duties.
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints and providing product recommendations.

About you
As an Steggles shop assistant, you will have recent experience customer service and retail within a similar organization. In addition, you will bring:
 

• Experience in customer service and retail, ensuring high-quality interactions with customers and meeting their needs efficiently.
• Known for being reliable and consistently well-presented, always maintaining a professional appearance.
• Fully available to work on Saturdays and during peak seasons, including Easter and Christmas, to support increased business demands.
• Access to my own transport or reliable transportation, ensuring punctuality and flexibility for work shifts.
• Experienced with manual handling and lifting, with a strong focus on adhering to safety guidelines to perform tasks effectively.
