Our client, a global consulting and professional services firm delivering large-scale transformation and operational solutions, is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join their high-performing team based in Brisbane.
This full-time position offers up to $130k (inclusive of super) and plays a pivotal role in managing sourcing and procurement activities on behalf of major enterprise and government clients. It blends commercial discipline with public sector alignment; ideal for someone with strong sourcing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Lead and support end-to-end sourcing and procurement projects across a range of goods and services categories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and drive execution.
- Prepare and manage RFx activities, evaluate tenders, negotiate with suppliers, and support contract drafting.
- Analyse spend data and supplier performance to identify opportunities and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure procurement compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and system requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, supplier management, and reporting tasks using tools like SAP.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years' experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management with strong stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to manage multiple sourcing projects concurrently in a structured, policy-driven environment.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and category management strategies.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
