Are you an experienced procurement professional ready to take on a senior role in a dynamic public sector environment? We’re seeking a motivated Senior Sourcing Specialist
to lead end-to-end sourcing activities, manage strategic procurement projects, and deliver value-for-money outcomes across a range of high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex end-to-end sourcing processes, from planning through to contract award
- Develop sourcing strategies, evaluation plans, negotiation frameworks, and stakeholder briefings
- Collaborate closely with internal clients and multidisciplinary teams to support strategic objectives
- Provide expert advice on procurement compliance, risk management, and value creation
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement practices, tools, and systems
- (If applicable) Provide leadership and support to junior procurement team members
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex sourcing initiatives in line with public or private sector procurement frameworks
- Strong understanding of contract development and commercial risk management
- Ability to develop effective stakeholder relationships and influence at senior levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefings and reports
- Knowledge of government procurement processes is highly desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commerce, law, or a related field are advantageous
