Senior Project Manager

We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for our client, a NSW Government agency based in Sydney for an initial 6-9 month contract. The role is for 1.5 days or 12 hours per week (flexible across 5 days) with a pay rate of up to $900 per day + super. 

The role will be overseeing a $1.2m capital works construction project through design and construction. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for the project, ensuring alignment with government standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and consultants and contractor performance
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless execution.
• Apply best practices in risk management, procurement, and compliance

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in managing NSW government construction projects is essential
• Previous experience with GC21 and MW21 contracts
• Strong stakeholder engagement and contract management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
