Are you an experienced Senior HR Advisor with strong employee relations and case management expertise? We’re partnering with a dynamic government organisation in Western Australia seeking a passionate and proactive HR professional to join their team on a contract until October 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to positive cultural change and help drive organisational performance in a meaningful public sector role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice, coaching, and support on a wide range of employee relations (ER) and people management issues
- Coach and support leaders to strengthen their people leadership capabilities
- Interpret and provide advice on enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and HR policies
- Lead and conduct workplace investigations in line with policy and procedural frameworks
- Analyse case management data to identify trends, root causes, and HR risks related to conduct, performance, and fitness for work
- Support continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and ER initiatives
- Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Strong experience in case management and the ability to identify and mitigate HR-related risks
- Significant HR generalist experience within a medium to large, multi-disciplinary organisation
- Proven expertise in employee relations, including grievance resolution, performance management, disciplinary processes, and misconduct investigations
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coach and influence senior leaders
- Confident in analysing and interpreting HR data to support informed decision-making
- Gain valuable government HR experience in a dynamic environment
