Senior Dam Engineer
Location: Flexible within Victoria (Hybrid available)
Contract:  Temporary contract until 30/01/2026

Deliver high-level regulatory oversight of tailings and slimes dams across Victoria.

Key Duties

• Review, update and develop dam safety guidelines aligned with ANCOLD standards
• Lead audits, inspections and assessments of tailings facilities across remote sites
• Analyse dam designs and work plans against regulatory requirements
• Advise on risk management strategies and catastrophic failure recovery plans
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for regulatory and stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate third-party technical reviews of high-risk sites
• Support continuous improvement in tailings management practices

About You

• Qualified engineer with dam, geotechnical or structural experience
• Strong knowledge of ANCOLD TSF guidelines and risk assessment frameworks
• Effective communicator with regulatory and industry stakeholders
• Able to manage multiple technical requests and competing deadlines
• Victorian Driver’s Licence and ability to travel to regional/remote locations
