About the role
Our government client is seeking 2x general road workers/labourers to join the team based around Gundagai. This is a physically active role involving routine and repetitive manual tasks, supporting road and infrastructure works. Prior experience in concrete work is desirable but not essential. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability as this is an ad-hoc road maintenance role. 

Duties
• Perform manual labour using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Work independently or as part of a team, following direction from the Team Leader
• Assist with roadwork activities, with a focus on concrete slab replacement
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
 
Skills and Experience
• White Card – required
• Working on Foot (WOF) – required
• C class drivers licence or above – required
• Traffic Controller (TC) ticket – required (or willing to obtain)
• Police check – required (or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience in road work or concreting – highly regarded
• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
