Pinjarra| 5:2 Roster | Asap Start | 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Join one of Australia’s leading Tier 1 mining operators in a pivotal role that combines technical coordination, regulatory oversight, and high-level project support. We’re seeking an organised Project Officer
to manage and deliver a critical drilling program in the Pinjarra region.
This is your opportunity to make a real impact ensuring approvals, surveys, and timelines are met with precision in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities include however not limited to:
- Oversee and manage a drilling program, including scheduling and coordination of surveys.
- Ensure all necessary regulatory approvals are in place by actively chasing and following up on applications.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure all tasks are completed promptly.
- Work closely with internal teams to track procurement processes and purchase requisitions.
- Assist with the end-of-month forecasting and tracking of purchase orders.
- Create and manage project maps using advanced ArcGIS Pro tools, including layer creation, editing, and validation.
- Utilise advanced Excel skills for data management, including creating intermediate formulas, conditional formatting, and reporting.
- Ensure processes are adhered to and followed consistently to meet the project's requirements.
- Report project progress and any issues to senior management as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, including the use of specialised tools for validation, creating layers, editing, and map creation.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience creating intermediate formulas and using conditional formatting.
- Experience with procurement processes, including managing purchase requisitions, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with EOM (End-of-Month) forecasting and tracking of purchase orders would be helpful.
- Highly organised and process-driven, with a keen attention to detail and ability to keep things moving forward.
- Strong focus on timelines and the ability to follow up with stakeholders regularly.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
