About the Role
This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven Project Manager who thrives in managing the full lifecycle of small to medium capital and sustaining projects. You’ll ensure project governance, safety, and compliance while collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and site stakeholders to bring key infrastructure and mobile delivery systems online
.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely manage the execution of engineering projects in alignment with project governance processes
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and capital reporting
- Support the delivery of mobile explosive systems to surface and underground operations
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance for delivered assets
- Lead planning, implementation, stakeholder communication, and final handover
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and logistics for site mobilisation and commissioning
- Prepare capitalisation reports and maintain key project documentation
- Deliver monthly progress reports and forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years experience managing capital projects within mining, heavy industry, or mobile equipment sectors
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle governance and stakeholder engagement
- Skilled in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and SAP (or equivalent ERP systems)
- Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Commercial acumen and focus on cost-effective outcomes
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and quality
Performance Metrics
- On-time, in-budget delivery of project assets
- Compliance with safety and environmental protocols
- Governance adherence and accurate capitalisation reporting
- Effective stakeholder communication and engagement
