Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure or energy projects? Join a respected government agency based in the Perth CBD, and be part of Western Australia’s energy transformation journey.
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Managers for a 12-month fixed-term contract, to drive the successful end-to-end delivery of strategic and high-value infrastructure projects.
Your Role Will Include:
- Leading the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout across multiple concurrent projects
- Managing budgets, timelines, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery
- Executing projects in alignment with corporate governance, methodology, and safety standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes
- Monitoring and reporting on CAPEX/OPEX and overall project performance
- Developing strong stakeholder engagement plans and conducting regular communications
- Providing coaching and mentoring to junior project team members
- Advising on construction work packages and preliminary design input
- Planning construction schedules and sequencing, including commissioning and outage planning
- Coordinating procurement strategies and supporting logistics and laydown area planning
- Managing interfaces with other major works and facilities
- Raising plant requisitions and maintaining P6 project schedules
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or equivalent practical industry experience
- Industry-recognised project management certification (e.g., RegPM, PMP, PMI)
- 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects using PMBOK, PRINCE2 or similar methodologies
- Strong financial acumen, with proven experience managing CAPEX/OPEX budgets and forecasts
