Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure or energy projects? Join a respected government agency based in the Perth CBD, and be part of Western Australia’s energy transformation journey.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Managers for a 12-month fixed-term contract, to drive the successful end-to-end delivery of strategic and high-value infrastructure projects.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Leading the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout across multiple concurrent projects
  • Managing budgets, timelines, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery
  • Executing projects in alignment with corporate governance, methodology, and safety standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes
  • Monitoring and reporting on CAPEX/OPEX and overall project performance
  • Developing strong stakeholder engagement plans and conducting regular communications
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to junior project team members
Additional Skills We're Looking For:
  • Advising on construction work packages and preliminary design input
  • Planning construction schedules and sequencing, including commissioning and outage planning
  • Coordinating procurement strategies and supporting logistics and laydown area planning
  • Managing interfaces with other major works and facilities
  • Raising plant requisitions and maintaining P6 project schedules
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or equivalent practical industry experience
  • Industry-recognised project management certification (e.g., RegPM, PMP, PMI)
  • 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects using PMBOK, PRINCE2 or similar methodologies
  • Strong financial acumen, with proven experience managing CAPEX/OPEX budgets and forecasts
