Project Advisor– Light Mobile Equipment (LME)
Perth Based | ASAP Start | 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension)

We are currently seeking a Project Advisor – Light Mobile Equipment (LME)
to join the Fleet Planning & Delivery
team of our high-profile mining client. This Perth-based role will play a key part in supporting the safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of LME across their extensive operations.
About the Role
This role focuses on the authoring, maintenance, and control of technical specification documents critical to procurement and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and manage LME Asset Specification documents and Level 2 Risk Assessments in collaboration with subject matter experts and external vendors.
- Drive consistency and accuracy across technical documentation within the company’s Information Management System.
- Influence and obtain support from site and departmental teams to standardise equipment design.
- Ensure all specifications conform to Australian Standards, internal engineering standards, and Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations.
- Facilitate and document formal change management processes for deviations from standard procedure.
- Periodically review assets for compliance and ongoing functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Recent experience in a similar role or a Graduate Engineer with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Solid understanding of technical drawings and mobile equipment design principles.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational capabilities, and a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- A sound understanding of Australian Standards related to mobile equipment (highly desirable).
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge and/or hands-on experience.
- If bringing recent experience in a similar role:
- Prior technical exposure to mining equipment or light vehicles is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in technical writing and documentation.
