Project accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project financial reporting, analysis, and monthly cost reviews
• Track and manage project budgets and expenditures
• Support accurate forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain detailed Excel reports to support financial decisions
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to projects

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or project accounting roles
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system highly desirable
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
