About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Procurement Business Partner
to support a range of Sydney’s Infrastructure Grant Funded Projects. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on procurement and contract management, ensuring all activities are conducted with transparency, compliance, and in alignment with organisational policies and legislation.

The Procurement team works collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments, including technology and construction, to ensure the successful delivery of key projects. Key Responsibilities
- Provide informed advice on procurement processes, contract management, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and apply current knowledge of contract law, procurement policies, and relevant legislation.
- Support business units through training and guidance on procurement systems and best practices.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping in line with internal procedures and legal obligations.
- Uphold governance standards and ensure procurement activities meet all statutory and organisational requirements.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong experience in procurement and contract management, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment. You are confident in interpreting policy, engaging with stakeholders, and navigating procurement systems efficiently.
Essential Criteria
- Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree), or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract administration, logistics, or project management within a medium to large organisation.
- Proven experience with construction procurement and/or contract management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise financial systems such as SAP or Finance 1.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and value-driven procurement practices.
- Sound understanding of contract law and advanced Excel skills.
- A current Class C driver’s licence.
