Our client, a Queensland Government department, is seeking an experienced procurement and contract management professional for a 6-month assignment based in Berrinba.
This full-time role (36.25 hours/week) offers an hourly rate of $85.31 + super
and sits within the department’s Business Services team, supporting a broad range of contract and vendor management activities.
Key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Deliver and monitor vendor contracts and supplier performance
- Provide procurement leadership and operational support across the program
- Advise and support managers in contract performance and issue resolution
- Drive cost-saving outcomes through strategic sourcing initiatives
- Contribute to the development of procurement tools, systems, and procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Strong background in government procurement and contract management
- Experience managing higher-risk procurement and governance processes
- Familiarity with vendor performance frameworks and reporting
- Ability to contribute to process improvement across procurement functions
- Must be eligible to work in Australia and provide a recent Criminal History Check
