Our client, a Queensland Government department, is seeking an experienced procurement and contract management professional for a 6-month assignment based in Berrinba.

This full-time role (36.25 hours/week) offers an hourly rate of $85.31 + super and sits within the department’s Business Services team, supporting a broad range of contract and vendor management activities.


Key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

  • Deliver and monitor vendor contracts and supplier performance
  • Provide procurement leadership and operational support across the program
  • Advise and support managers in contract performance and issue resolution
  • Drive cost-saving outcomes through strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of procurement tools, systems, and procedures

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong background in government procurement and contract management
  • Experience managing higher-risk procurement and governance processes
  • Familiarity with vendor performance frameworks and reporting
  • Ability to contribute to process improvement across procurement functions
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia and provide a recent Criminal History Check
