Principal Contract Officer

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Contracts Officer to lead the development and management of complex, high-risk contracts within a dynamic public sector environment.

This assingment is offered on an 11 month contract and commencing in September 2025.

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including contract formation, tendering, and evaluation.
• Provide expert advice on contract management and procurement planning.
• Award, extend, vary or terminate contracts within delegated authority.
• Mentor Contracts Officers and contribute to their professional growth.
• Assist in the development and continuous improvement of procurement policies and processes.
• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective procurement outcomes.
