About the Client:

Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for a talented PMO Coordinator to join their busy team for a casual 12 months temporary assignment.


About the Role

As a PMO Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible in the delivery of customer value in technology-enabled business services. In addition, your key duties are as follows:

  • Develop project schedule and balancing technical dependencies and business requirements and other priorities.
  • Actively track project activities using standard Project Management tool, including management of plans, risks, issues and key decisions.
  • Publish Weekly Status Reports and review with the Payments Director.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of program strategies.
  • Provide senior level project management/administrative support and coordination.
  • Create, maintain, and augment reports, analyses, and manage risks and issues registers.
  • Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, value proposition, and impacted organisational functions and systems.
  • Facilitate team meetings and manage team kanban board.
 
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Proven experience in a similar Program / Project Coordination, PMO, and/or Business Administration role, ideally within the public sector industry
  • Competency in SharePoint, Jira & Confluence.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed communications skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
