Planner (Fixed Plant)
Location: FIFO from Darwin, Brisbane or Perth
Roster: 2/2
Are you an experienced Maintenance Planner with a passion for safety, reliability, and continuous improvement? Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled Fixed Plant Planner
to join our client’s team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Action, prioritise, and plan maintenance work through SAP notifications.
- Improve planning processes to enhance service quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Incorporate safety and environmental factors into all planning activities.
- Collaborate with key departments to define priorities and ensure alignment with equipment criticality.
- Develop comprehensive work packages detailing hazards, permits, tools, labour, materials, durations, and sequencing.
- Resolve planning issues such as part availability, procedure gaps, and operational constraints.
- Identify shutdown scopes and support achievement of critical shutdown timelines.
- Contribute to asset strategy reviews when operational demands shift.
- Continuously improve work packages to reduce costs while maintaining safety and quality.
- Liaise with vendors to manage and track material delivery schedules.
What You Bring to the Role:
- 3–5 years' experience as a maintenance planner, ideally in a large-scale fixed plant processing environment.
- Proficient in work management processes with strong MS Project and Excel skills.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP for planning and scheduling.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence.
- Hold (or willing to obtain) a National Police Clearance.
