About the Role
As the Payroll Specialist, you’ll take ownership of a scalable process framework that supports the delivery of the Payroll Services.
You’ll partner with payroll teams, transformation leads, client services, and implementation specialists to map current ways of working, identify improvement opportunities, and roll out streamlined solutions. Your work will directly improve the consistency, accuracy, and speed of service delivery while also reducing risk and creating a better experience for both clients and internal teams.
You’ll play a pivotal role in building a knowledge hub of best practices, exceptions, tools, and templates all with a focus on operational excellence and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Documenting current workflows and developing standardised processes for payroll services
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and aligning them with governance and compliance standards
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and the Business Transformation team to ensure changes are rolled out and embedded effectively
- Reviewing system feedback to influence ongoing improvements
- Supporting implementation of new clients into the payroll services offering by standardising their configuration
- Making basic configuration changes to test environments to support rollouts
- Championing the adoption of process improvements across teams and helping build a culture of operational excellence
- You’ve worked in or closely with payroll teams and understand the dynamics of service delivery
- You’re highly organised, analytical, and detail-focused, with experience mapping workflows and identifying improvement areas
- You’re confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and influencing without authority
- You’ve got a continuous improvement mindset and love turning inefficiencies into elegant solutions
- Work with a company that’s investing in people, systems, and innovation to lead the way in payroll services
- Be part of an environment where your ideas, insights, and contributions will have direct impact
- Enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and support for your professional development
- Access a clear path for growth
- Join a values-driven team that encourages collaboration, accountability, and curiosity
