Payroll Officer | Contract Role
Location: Coburg | Contract: 4months | Rate: $50–55/hour + super

We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support a high-volume environment during a critical period.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and maintaining employee records to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll (500+ employees) in line with awards, legislation, and internal policies.
• Manage timesheets, leave, terminations, and payroll adjustments.
• Respond to payroll queries and provide accurate advice to employees and managers.
• Maintain employee records, including masterfile updates and employment variations.
• Assist with system maintenance and reporting across payroll and time & attendance platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Mandatory experience using Chris21/iChris.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general system adaptability.
