Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a number of Office Manager to join their busy team for a temporary assignment until December 2026.
About the role
As a an Office Manager, you will support the business units manage the operating functions of the Agency, ensuring accessible, nationally-consistent client experiences. In addition, your key duties are as follow:
- Liaise with relevant enabling teams including Property, Fleet, ICT, Business Resilience and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
- Manage Fire Warden, First Aid Officer, WHS Officer and Diversity Officer processes ensuring compliance and promoting these roles within their respective sites.
- Coordinate Workplace Hazard Inspections and Site Risk Registers.
- Coordinate procedures for Managing Unreasonable Behaviour (MUB), Aggression Response Team Training (ARTT) and TrimEVAC training.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, stock levels of engagement materials and publications.
- Manage sites within demographic remit including site visits and general site communications.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar Office Manager role, ideally within the disability, health, aged care, or government sector
- Efficient in managing office operations and multitasking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to resolve issues and make decisions quickly.
- Skilled in office software and management systems
- High attention to detail and good administrative skills.
Benefits

- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- $55.24 per hour + super
